About Me, Myself and I
Hi there! My name is April (duh) and I'm an eighteen year old casual secretary at a commercial air conditioning company and full time Journalism student that owns more dogs than cats even though she considers herself more of a cat person. This is my online home.
I live with my boyfriend, Jason, on a turf farm where my view consists of acres of beautiful green grass and a river just beyond the fences. I have a beautiful kitteh, Allie Cat, and 3 dogs - Rex, Brutus and Mack. I love my pets and don't know where I would be without them!
When I'm not at home playing house, earning money or getting an education; I'm at the gym. I have slowly become in love with fitness - something I think I get from my mum. She's sort of like my best friend and from an early age raised me to eat everything in moderation - something I only listen to when it doesn't involve chocolate. As soon as that beautiful candy is brought into the picture, all moderations go out the window! But I burn it off so that makes it all ok to eat a block a day (or so my brain tells me).
One of my biggest goals in life is to become a columnist, hence studying Bachelor of Journalism. I have always loved to write and since I am also very opinionated the job seems the perfect match. I have never wanted to go into Journalism with the dreams of being on TV, I just want my own little corner of a magazine / newspaper that people can read and either madly disagree or agree with. I will get there.
I am a naturally determined and stubborn person so anything that I want, I will get. Anything I set my mind to, I will not stop until I do it. This can be very frustrating but also very beneficial for me. It sucks when I'm playing a game because I won't give up until I have reigned supreme, but at the same time my willpower also gets me places that I want to go and gets me things I want to get. GO APRIL POWER! But look out when I'm having a bad day, cos a shitstorm is likely to erupt and if you're not careful, it might just rain down on you! This is something everyone close to me has figured out very quickly and if they see me about to erupt, their code Red is to run. Far, far away.
This site is here because although I'm not the greatest designer (if you could even call me that) in the world, I absolutely love it. I have combined two things I love very much - writing and web creation.
Overall, I'm just your average 18 year old girl that is yet to find her place in the world but isn't in a hurry to get there.

MyNameisApril was established in June, 2010 after I decided my previous domain, gooberfied.org, was getting a little too old. I've always enjoyed quirky domains and so it seemed fit to simply have my next domain as weird as my last one. There is no real amazing story behind this one - I just want to get across that my name is April ... obviously :P
